Seagull guitars is a sub-brand of Godin Guitars, which specializes in acoustic guitars. A used Seagull S6 is an excellent choice for a beginner acoustic guitar. The price of a used S6 is slightly higher than acoustic guitars at the lower end, but the quality of the S6 is much higher. The only exception is the RG-550, which tends to have a slightly higher used price than the other models. The RG-570 is typically the most common and cheapest used RG-5xx guitar. The RG series is a good choice for beginners interested in playing rock or metal lead guitar. These guitars are the best choice for beginners who want a guitar with a reliable floating tremolo bridge. The floating tremolo bridges used on these guitars are of much higher quality than any other guitar in the same price range.
Japanese Squier guitars
Squier Guitars is a company owned by Fender that produces cheaper copies of Fender models for students and beginners. Squier produced guitars in Japan between 1982 and 1997. The Japanese made Squiers are of noticeably higher quality than the other countries that used to manufacture those guitars. Using Japanese squiers normally costs about the same as the most used Squiers, as well. These are a great choice for a beginner interested in playing a Fender guitar. The quality of the instrument is quite high for the typical price used. Beginner guitarists usually do not want to spend a lot of money on guitar. It takes some experience before a guitarist learns which type of guitar suits him or her best. Using guitars is a good starting point because they allow a beginner to buy a higher quality instrument at a lower price.
